The Society’s main aim and function is to provide a platform for the outstanding Microsurgeons within Plastic Surgery in Australia to present work, discuss techniques and engage in detailed and nuanced discussion about the various aspects of Reconstructive Microsurgery. The Society will continue to hold a biennial (every 2 years) meeting in order to facilitate this. The Australian Reconstructive Microsurgery Meeting is the flagship meeting of the Australian Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery.

Membership Requirements

• Members must be registered specialists in Plastic Surgery, holding an FRACS (Plast) or an equivalent qualification, with demonstrable currency of practice in reconstructive microsurgery.

• Trainee Members must be RACS SET Trainees in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
